Carnaval on the Mile welcomes participation by artists
February 12, 2024
Carnaval on the Mile, which takes place March 2 and 3, 2024, is a music and art festival held in downtown Coral Gables since 1997. The event runs through Miracle Mile, with three stages in the main intersections of Douglas, Le Jeune, and Ponce de Leon, presenting more than 30 music groups of jazz, blues, Latin funk, and rock during the entire weekend.
Art exhibits line the way and include paintings, crafts, photography and jewelry by local and out-of-town artists. Activities for children occupy a full block, making the festival an event for all ages.
This year is their 25th anniversary and they are looking forward to seeing 150,000+ attendees over the two-day event.
If you are an artist and would like to participate, please contact Juliana Larrosa, JLarrosa@kiwanislittlehavana.org.
This event is part of Carnaval Miami, produced by the Kiwanis of Little Havana.
